The $200 million movie

The only thing I was skeptical about watching Transformers was being brutally inundated with constant "commercials" of GM and their failing cars. BUT, one thing I wasn't going to mind being inundated with was Megan Fox. Believe me, I was certainly pleased with the slow-motion montage during the last half hour of the film. Although, she can't act. Good thing she's hot. Oh yea, so that first scene she's in precariously bending over that motorcycle painting the tank...I heard lots of "oh damns" and "oooo" from the 120-plus viewers, as her butt was hanging out of her daisy dukes. There was only one question that came to my mind: "Who the hell paints a gas tank while bending over a bike like that"? I mean, don't get me wrong, it was a great shot, and if I had Tivo...well, you know.

Aside from that, the action and constant blowing up of Shanghai, aircraft carriers, pyramids, and GM cars (thanks) was very well done.
But did this movie really have to be two and a half hours long? I think they could've done  this whole story/background thing in the first one and made the sequel 45 mins shorter. Oh, and there is gonna be a 3rd one. Megatron doesn't DIE.

Let's just hope this 3rd installment isn't three and a half hours long, but let's do hope there's more inundation of Megan Fox and her slow motion running.
